Describe your office space to us:

My home office is a place where I go to keep my home organized and work on blog posts. The neutral colors give the space a calming cozy affect and makes it the perfect spot to cuddle up with a puppy (we have 3) and cup of tea. The bursts of bright colors through out the room give off a happy feeling that gets my creative juices flowing.

Where did the inspiration for your office design come from?

I am a Pinterest addict. I love sharing my own ideas, but I also like flipping through the photos of others and applying their ideas to my space. Recently Instagram has also been my go to. It’s exciting to see how women from around the world and a few stylish celebs (Lauren Conrad) express themselves through decorating.

Which stores or websites did you go to to purchase your office decor?

I enjoy frequenting my local Home Goods, TJ Maxx and Target. Each week there are a variety of new items, it feels like a treasure hunt. The joy of decorating is doubled by shopping smart. (by doubled I mean I can get twice as much, and not feel guilty when new treasures come along) *Dazzle Do: find pieces that can work in other rooms to re-invent the space and repurpose the piece. A few times a week I also stop by my favorite daily deal websites. (GroopDealz, Jane.com, Sassy Steals) While shopping on these sites I have found everything from printables for my gallery wall to gold dot wall decals.

What is your favorite part/design of your office design space and why?

My favorite part of my home office would have to be my gallery wall. It took quite a bit of time, but in the end I think it was well worth it! It’s always nice to look up and see little encouraging sayings or inspiring art! Currently, I am obsessed with my fashion illustration by Anumt, found on Etsy. I like to think she adds a touch glamour to my wall.

Do you feel that having a well designed and inspiring office has changed the way you work?

Definitely! I am able to come up with more creative ideas when I keep my surroundings organized and styled to my personality. I have designed my office space to express my personal style of feminine/modern with a dash of sparkle.

If you could use one word to describe the feel of your office space, what would it be?

“Cheerful”

Tell us about your company and it means to you to have a well-designed office space.

A few months ago I created my blog, Let’s Dazzle Darlings. I wanted a place where I could share my ever evolving love of home décor. I find my “creative space” to be even more valuable as I continue to grow my blog and connect with other like-minded bloggers. Everyone needs a beautiful escape, my office is my happy place.

  1. I love this office. Calm neutral with just enough gold and touches of color to give it style, but not distracting when you are trying to work. My “Baby” (the youngest of 4 sons) moved out this week and I have taken over his room as my home office. Soo excited to find this post for my inspiration

I LOVE this office! Where did you get the desk, chair, wall art (particularly the “Love is …” and gold dots for the walls? Thank you — a true inspiration!

      Hi Anne,

I believe most of the art is from Etsy, the dots can be found on there as well. Chair is from Home Goods and not quite sure where the desk is from but you can find something similar at Ikea.

      Thanks for reading!

      Hi Stephanie,

Thanks for your comment. Not entirely sure where the bookshelf is from but looks like she hit up Ikea, Target and Home Goods for most of the purchases.

      XOXO
