Perfect Pairing: Strawberry + Goat Chese Platter with Stella Artois Apple Cidre

perfect pairing A while back I went to the Stella Artois event for the launch of their delicious apple cidre and was introduced to its tastiness! I’m a big fan of white wine especially after a crazzeedddd week of work, meetings, being sick, travel and anything else you can throw at me. I lean towards the sweeter side of white wines which is why I love the taste of Stella Artois Cidre-just like apple juice! Anyway, I’ve put together the perfect pairing of what tastes great with an already tasty drink and came up with strawberry + goat cheese platter to upgrade an otherwise boring night. photo 3

 Look at that yummy goodness!

Ingredients photo 1 photo A little platter of some stella, table “accessories” and this delicious goat cheese + strawberry concoction is just what you need to upgrade an otherwise boring night like I did. Its one thing to sit with a glass of wine with friends but like everything in my life, I have to STYLE it. Its just part of who I am, I can’t just have it how its typically done, I want something a little more glam with a little more style. If you want to try this yourself, here’s what you’ll need: Strawberry + Goat Cheese

  • Goat cheese
  • Strawberries
  • Honey
  • Baguette

Thats it! I like the taste of honey so I did some with honey on top and some without, its totally personal preference and goes so well with the cidre. I just cut up the baguette (you can heat it in the toaster if you prefer), sliced the strawberries and added the goat cheese-voila!  This is the perfect recipe for a small get together and just having the girls over for fun. For your table setting, just use some unexpected pieces that are around your house that fit in with the style or vibe of your night. I love purple and brought in some of my glam accessories-even my knife coordinated with the table settings. What you think, have you tried Apple Cidre yet? SO good! xoxo
